If you are here, you were given this link by a Friend of the Academy or you attended one of our events (and are therefore yourself a Friend of the Academy).
We do not make a habit of sharing our events actively on social media, relying instead on person-to-person invitations. This is slower, but more true to our ethos. With that in mind, please do attend events - and bring others with you. You may be the only way they may hear about us. It takes an effort - there is a war for our attention, after all. Be diligent, for their sake.
The Fargo Chapter of ASH currently facilitates three varieties of events that are open to the public: Soirées, Excelsiors, and Reading Symposiums.
Soirées
The most essential of our activities, Soirées are experiential dining events where we weave conversation and community using Old World banqueting & toasting traditions. Discover what food and wine were made for.

Excelsiors
Typically on the 1st Friday of each month, our Excelsior Dances are unique experiences designed to build deep community and character through the medium of partnered dancing (and dueling with swords). We explore the practical lived experience of real honor through waltz.

Reading Symposiums
Probably the most approachable of our events, our Reading Society gathers for monthly Symposiums to read silently together before engaging in conversation saturated with intention. If you've struggled to make time for good old fashioned reading, here's your ticket.
